He was predeceased by: his parents, Alanson Holmes and Anita Holmes (Gramolini); his son Matthew Holmes; and his sibling Alanson Holmes, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Leona Heidrick; his sisters, Anita Smith and Catherine Bradford; and his granddaughter Samantha. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (600 Pontiac Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark Church (9 Garden Ct, Cranston, RI 02920).
