She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Autino Maraia and Rose Maraia (Mezzaucello); her husband Raffaele "Ralph" Ciunci; her children, Kristine Lutrario (Ken) of Cranston and Ralph Ciunci (Lisa) of Cranston; her granddaughters, Vanessa Lutrario, Antonia, Ariana and Alisha Ciunci; her siblings, Grace LeBlanc of North Kingstown, Michael P. Maraia, Joseph Maraia of West Warwick, Matthew Maraia, Autino "Tony" Maraia, Ednella "Nell" Corbishley, Giovanni "Jenny" LaPlante and Carolyn Sorensen; and her stepsister Rose Gulotta. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
