It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Ann DeFusco of Cranston, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank D. DeFusco; her parents, Adam Walaska and Malvina Walaska (Skamaraka); and her sister Jennie Pelosi. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Andrade (late Edward) of West Warwick, Pat DeFusco (Paula) of Charlestown and Lawrence DeFusco (Paula) of Johnston; her grandchildren, Tracy DeFusco, Mark Andrade and Lori Andrade (Matt Kachanis); her great grandchild Isabella; and her siblings, John Walaska, Amelia Meglio, Eva Sylvestri, Helen Durante, Stacia Pollock, Chester Walaska, Peter Walaska, Caroline Major and Stella Giordano.
