She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Metcalfe, Jr.; her parents, Sherman Grant and Helen Grant (Saabye); and her sister Constance Kirwan. She is survived by: her children, Jean Grover (Tom) of Greenville and Connie Metcalfe (Leo Vargas) of Boca Raton, FL.; her brother Edward Grant; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Grover, Michael Grover, Tristan Vargas and Zayden Vargas.
