She was predeceased by: her husband Christopher Polite; and her parents, Cruz Rojas and Juana Edith Rojas (Melendez). She is survived by: her daughters, Vivian Acevedo of Cranston and Michelle Verdejo of Providence; her brother Carlos Rojas of Puerto Rico; her grandson Arian Verdejo of Providence; her nephew Heriberto Soto of Providence; and her siblings, Nilda, Speedy, Olson, Cuca and Chewy Rojas.
