It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion A. Giannasi (Cranston, Rhode Island), who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Susie Giannasi; her sister Betty Campanella; and her brother-in-law Archie Campanella. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Nancy Scorpio (Anthony) of Cranston, Christine Woodbine (Robert) of Saunderstown, Stephen Campanella (late Joann) of South Carolina and Gary Campanella (Fatimah) of California; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Elizabeth Gencarelli (Aaron), Lauren Martinez (Alex), Julia Iannucci (Mat), Erica Campanella, Marissa Lewis (Brian), Beth Campanella (Chuck), Anne Campanella (Bryan), Gregory Scorpio (Stephanie), David Scorpio and Daniel Iannucci (Marissa). She is also survived by cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Apostles Church (800 Pippin Orchard Rd, Cranston, RI 02921). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the St. Francis Cemetery (163 Smithfield Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
