We bid farewell to Katherine Silva of Cranston, Rhode Island, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 9, 2025 at the age of 89. Katherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Katherine departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Katherine may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Katherine leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andreas Tsomi and Eugenia Tsomi (Vagena); and her sibling Stavroula Vagena. She is survived by: her husband James A. Silva; and her siblings, Panagiota Curtner of Waco, TX and Phillipos Tsomi of Athens. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (175 Oaklawn Ave, Cranston, RI 02920). An entombment was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Swan Point Cemetery (585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence, RI 02906).
