It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine R. Pemberton Andrade of Cranston, Rhode Island, who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew "Tia" Santos and Antonia R. Dunston (Andrade). She is survived by: her husband James C. Pemberton; her sons, Jason J. Andrade (Aminat) and Jolon J. Andrade Pemberton (Laura); her sisters, Denise, Linda Andrade, Sylvanna Santos Anildo Araujo, Angelina Gardner, Iris Gardner, Elizabeth Briggs, Marcellina Aldi and Adeline Simmons; and her grandchildren, Dajah Almeida, Jedidiah Andrade, Jason Andrade, Sampson Andrade, Julio Andrade, Elias Andrade, Antonia Andrade and Israel Andrade.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home (331 Smith St, Providence, RI 02908).
