He was predeceased by: his father José Estrella. He is survived by: his wife Sara Guzman; his mother Ysabel M. Disla; his children, Cinthya E. Yermoshin (Dennis), Jackeline A. Esquea-Jorge (Mike) and Jose A. Esquea, Jr. (Kiara); his siblings, Julio Cesar Esquea, Maria A. Estrella, Cecilia Estrella and Estrellita Estrella; and his grandchildren, Aiskel Y. Jorge and Jeter A. Esquea.
