He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Capotosto and Mary Capotosto (Maggiacomo); and his sibling Sandino Capotosto. He is survived by: his wife Irene Capotosto (Obernesser); his daughters, Donna Pobiner (Capotosto) and Diane Capotosto; his grandson Eric Pobiner; his son-in-law Paul Pobiner; and his sister Etta Terenzi (Capotosto). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Jude or Wounded Warriors.
