He was predeceased by: his parents, Americo Richards and Mildred Richards (Oxx); his wife Ellen-Ora Richards (Cesana); and his siblings-in-law, Mark Cesana (late Gerry Nadeau) and Rebecca Cesana.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Richards of Cranston, RI, James Richards of Brooklyn, NY and Shelton Duelm (Shelly); his son-in-law Bradley Duelm; his grandsons, Troy, Noah and John Duelm of Wethersfield, CT.; his siblings, Joseph (Nora) of North Falmouth, MA and Ann-Marie Richards of Warwick, RI; his nephew Jonathan Richards of Somerville, MA.; and his in-laws, John, Alice Cesana of Charlestown, RI, Anthony, Rachel Cesana of Woonsocket, RI, George, Anna Cesana of Warwick, RI and Patricia Cesana of Myrtle Beach, SC..
