He was predeceased by: his wife Rita McMahon (Gauvin); his parents, Thomas McMahon and Mary Ellen McMahon (Devitt); and his sister Mary O'Rourke. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Goulet of Cranston, James McMahon II (Mary-Carol) of Cranston and Steven McMahon (Lori) of Warwick; his nephew John McMahon; and his siblings, Thomas McMahon and Katherine Connell.
