It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn G. Gonsalves of Cranston, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Emerson and Katharina Emerson (Schmidt); her husband Joseph A Gonsalves Sr.; and her sister Dorothy Dwyer (Emerson). She is survived by: her children, Kathy Anderson (Guy) of Richmond, RI and Joseph Gonsalves Jr. (Jeanne Maggiacomo) of Warwick, RI.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, as well as nieces, a nephew, and cousins.
