Elaine (Rufo) Malachowski Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine (Rufo) Malachowski of Cranston, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Rufo and Irene Rufo (Martino); and her siblings, Alan Rufo and Carol Ann Rufo. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Malachowski; her sons, Matthew Malachowski (Amanda) of New Orleans, LA and Andrew Malachowski (Bridget) of Easton, MA; her grandchildren, Robert, Margaret Ann, Eleanor, Maeve, William and Nora Malachowski; her cousin Susan Martin; and her brother Raymond Rufo.

Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Apostles Church (800 Pippin Orchard Rd, Cranston, RI 02921). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (550 Wampanoag Trl, Riverside, RI 02915).
