She was predeceased by: her parents, Pietro Silvestri and Stella Silvestri (Stacia). She is survived by: her spouse Matteo DeSimone; her children, Debra Lamantia (Michael), Barbara DeRita, Peter DeSimone (Teresa) and Jean Hindle; her grandchildren, Michael Lamantia, Jr. (Judy), Jason Lamantia (Sara), Joseph DeRita (Yaredys), Anthony DeRita (Amanda), Christina DeRita, Megan McKeen, Brian DeSimone, Michele Hindle and Christopher Hindle; her great grandchildren, Lilly, Bella, Jayden, Javian, Julian, Lincoln Matteo and Riley Grace; her sister Carolyn Micielli; her son Anthony Micielli; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Lapati (John), Ralph DeSimone (Norma), John DeSimone (Carol) and Janice DeSimone. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
They always celebrated New Year's Eve; it was a tradition that they continued until the recent pandemic.
