He was predeceased by: his brother Leo "Butch" Gauvin. He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Leo Gauvin and Lurana Gauvin (Burgess); his sons, Daniel M. Gauvin (Frances), Christopher Leo Gauvin and Derek Joseph Gauvin; and his grandchildren, Daniel M. Gauvin II, Lilibet Billie Gauvin and Charlotte Josephine Gauvin.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (237 Garden Hills Dr, Cranston, RI 02920).
