She was predeceased by: her husband Robert J. Lawton; her parents, John J. Murphy and Frances Murphy (Harvey); and her daughter Kelly F. Vargas. She is survived by: her children, Joy Montanaro (Frank) of Cranston and Robert Lawton (Tomomi) of Honolulu, Hawaii; her grandchildren, Karissa Montanaro (Elizabeth), Kelsey Lawton, Frank Montanaro, Jake Montanaro, Dean Lawton, Matthew Lawton and Stacia Lawton; her sister Joyce Palma of Cranston; and her cousin Judith Donahue of Warwick. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
