With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Angelina (Merola) Merlino of Cranston, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignazio Merola and Helen Merola (Vernetti); her husband Frank A. Merlino; and her siblings, Dora Ryan, James, Vincent, Eugene, Raymond and William Merola.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Merlino Dail, Barbara Merlino and Richard Merlino; her grandchildren, Jennifer Devlin (Adam), Angela Merlino, Emily Sweeney (Tom), Laura Quéré (Guillaume) and Christopher Merlino; her great grandchildren, Katie Devlin, Teanna Lanzot Lauren Devlin, Amauri Lanzot, Chloe Quéré, Maddie Sweeney, Gavin Sweeney, Ryan Sweeney and Sophie Quéré; and her great great grandchild Brandon Reynolds, Jr..
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at the St. Ann Cemetery (73 Church St, Cranston, RI 02920).
