He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. and Erylene O. Lowes, Jr. (Hartley). He is survived by: his wife Gisela Lowes (Schlomm); his children, Roy, Melanie, Mary Sue, Julie Anne and Viriginia Lee; and his siblings, Cameron K. Lowes of Providence and Elizabeth L. Portser of Pennsylvania.
