With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William D. Cowan (Coventry, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Cowan (McAllister) and William A. Cowan. He is survived by: his son Jai Cowan (Erica) of Jewett City, CT; his grandchildren, Lola Cowan of Coventry, RI and Odin Cowan of Jewett City, CT; and his siblings, Darlene Cowan of Woonsocket, RI and Gerald Cowan of Paducah, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in Bill's memory may be made to further the research of cancer or any organization to benefit US Veterans.
