He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Simmons and Pauline Simmons (Derouin); and his grandson Nicholas Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Simmons (Smith); his children, David Simmons (Karen) of Coventry and Dr. Erin Simmons of Coventry; his grandson Benjamin; his siblings, Brian Simmons (Mary) of Coventry, Judith Gagnon of West Warwick, Paulette Whitman of Coventry, Jean Simmons of West Warwick and Bonnie Shon (Sam) of Huntington Beach, CA.; and his sister-in-law Dolores Poissant (Smith).
