He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald A. Horta and Florence Horta (Poole); and his sister Diane Hougentogler. He is survived by: his wife Bernadette M. "Bonnie" Horta (McNeil); his sons, Ronald S. Horta Jr. (Jessica) of Coventry, Bernard M. Horta (Michaela) of Coventry and Eric M. Horta (Keri) of Coventry; his grandsons, Zachary, Nathan, Nolan, Lucas, Michael and Hank Horta; his siblings, Barbara Langlais of West Warwick, Gail Allin of Narragansett and Paula Horta of West Warwick; and his stepmother Irene Horta.
