He is survived by: his sons, Brendan Higgins of North Kingstown, Kevin Higgins of Pawtucket, Jeffrey Higgins and Kindra Fortson-Higgins of Cumberland; and his grandchildren, Cole, Veah, Lillian, Violet and Ronin Kiekbusch.
