He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond J. Maccarone and Evelyn Bucci (Rotella); and his stepfather Vincent Bucci. He is survived by: his wife Judith Maccarone (Straight); his children, Lisa Goldstein (Maccarone) and Michael R. Maccarone; his stepdaughter Jennifer T. Short; his grandchildren, Mira Maccarone, Sophia Goldstein and Robert Short; his stepmother Helene Maccarone; and his siblings, Julie Maccarone, Jo-Ann Maccarone, Gail Stearns (Maccarone), Gary Maccarone and Donna Zito (Bucci).
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
