She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur W. Sr. Ellis and Lily Ellis (Walton); and her siblings, Arthur Ellis, John Ellis, Robert Ellis, Carolyn Rice, Marion Gordon, Evelyn Burdon, Harriet Burns, Ethel Hart, Florence Richmond and Irene Spencer.
She is survived by: her brother Ronald Ellis; her great great grandchildren, Clayton and Elena Patricia; and her granddaughter Tracie Martin Johnson. She is also survived by granddaughters, great grandchildren.
Myrtle was a talented seamstress and during Covid made many handmade masks for the community she lived in.
