He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert J. McGovern and Lorene B. McGovern (Sandberg). He is survived by: his wife Valerie J. McGovern (Laprad) of Coventry; his children, Erin Ursillo (Matthew) of Coventry and Patrick McGovern of Coventry; his grandsons, Luke and Zach Ursillo; and his siblings, Patricia Narcavage (Robert), Margaret Coupe (late James) and Philip McGovern (Deborah). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
