Michael R. Durand Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael R. Durand of Coventry, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 22, 2023 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael R. Durand to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Normand P. Durand and Lucille E. Durand (Beauchaine); and his uncle Lionel Beauchaine. He is survived by: his uncle Mike; his wife Kimberly Jo Poland; his daughters, Michelle Renaud (Kevin) of Londonderry, NH and Amie Smith (Peter); his granddaughter Siena Renaud; his siblings, Linda Durand, Thomas Durand and Annette Patton (Rick); his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Sandra Poland; and his siblings-in-law, Shane and Veronica Poland. He is also survived by many extended family members including nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Michael R. Durand can be made to the Coventry Lumber Charitable Foundation, a 501 (c)(3), at 6 Jefferson Drive, Coventry, RI 02816. All donations made will be given in Mike's memory to the numerous charities he supported through the years.
