He was predeceased by: his parents, Spyridon Dounetos and Lucille Dounetos (Deslauriers). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Dounetos (Botello); his sons, Michael Dounetos (Krista) and Jason Dounetos (Susan); his grandchildren, Jacob "Lefty" Dounetos, Aliya Dounetos and Nicholas Dounetos; and his nephew John Botello.
