He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lavoie and Claire Lavoie (Duclos). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne C. Lavoie (LaGrange); his children, Jaime Lavoie, Derek Lavoie and Rebecca LaFond; his siblings, Richard Lavoie, Paul Lavoie, Robert Lavoie, Roger Lavoie, Maurice Lavoie, Douglas Lavoie, Cecile Hall, Annette Dumais, Bertha McDonough and Kathy Thomas; his grandchildren, Morgan and Garen Johnson; and his stepgrandchildren, Max, John and Sophia LaFond. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Interment with military honors will be private in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Face masks are respectfully requested and social distancing and seating capacity limits will be observed.
