He was predeceased by: his wife Claire E. Maguire (Gillespie); his son James S. Maguire; his parents, George Maguire and Auxilia Maguire (Picard); and his brother George.
He is survived by: his son Andrew J. Maguire of Stephentown, NY; his daughters-in-law, Bonnie Maguire of Stephentown and Paula A. Maguire of Coventry; and his siblings, Rita Pelletier, Mederic and Henry Maguire. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, a committal service with military honors in Rathbun Cemetery in Coventry will be private for the family.
