He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence E. Jarvis and Ernestina Jarvis (Washburn). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn A. Jarvis (Lawrence); his sister Patricia Stokes (Bill) of Coventry; his brother-in-law Ronald Lawrence (Helen) of West Warwick; his cousins, Gail and Mary Ann; and his friends, Mike and Tony.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the RISPCA, 155 Plan Way, Warwick, RI 02886, as he loved all animals.

“So sorry Carolyn to hear than Jon has passed. We had some fun and shared some nice meals, picnics and Christmas Parties at High Tech. So sad when people you know are gone. We didn't stay close after our move to FL although John and Jon did and I think they still had their weekly phone calls. You and Jon were our friends and even opened your house to us a few times when we visited RI after our move. I know he will be missed, and I offer you and your family my deepest condolences.
