He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sina Pontarelli and Ann Strohman. He is survived by: his wife Joann Pontarelli (Gallant); his children, John Pontarelli Jr (Kristin), Marissa Pontarelli (Michael DeGraide) and Eric Pontarelli; and his grandchildren, Roman Pontarelli and Domenic DeGraide.
