We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2024, John N. Mott of Coventry, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid John farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan E. Walsh; his parents, Edgar N. and Hazel Mott (Taft); his son Steven Mott; his siblings, Edgar Mott and Winifred Deming; and his stepchildren, Karen Walsh and Richard D. Walsh, Jr..
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Donna Walsh of Warwick; and his sister Hazel Paquin. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home (982 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02888). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Highland Memorial Park Chapel (1 Rhode Island Ave, Johnston, RI 02919).
