It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Leyden (Coventry, Rhode Island), born in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, who passed away on December 23, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Matthew J. Leyden; and his siblings, Russell Leyden, Cathleen "Pieraccini" Erba and Robert Leyden. He is survived by: his spouse Arlene Leyden (Moan); his parent Mary Leyden (Pryor); his sons, Matthew W. Leyden (Mary) of East Greenwich and Timothy Leyden (Barbara) of Coventry; his sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Lundberg of Sauderstown and Joan Bezak of Narragansett; his grandchildren, Matthew J. Leyden, Erin Leyden-Healey (John), Meghan Andrikos (Dean), Sean Charles Leyden and Dylan Thomas Leyden; and his great grandchildren, Owen and Jack.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (StJude.org) would be appreciated.
