He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Carraturo (DeMaula); his parents, John C. Sr. Carraturo and Emma Carraturo (Boullard); his sons, Albert Carraturo and Joseph Carraturo; and his siblings, Albert "Beatle" Carraturo and Dorothy Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, John Carraturo, Rachel Gomes (Carraturo) and Wendy Arel Vento; his stepsons, Joseph M. Kane III and Robert Macomber; his brother Robert Carraturo; and his grandchildren, Michael Gomes, Robert Carton, Joshua Vento, Shaun Vento, Jessica Jobin and Sean Jobin.
John was a clerical worker for The Donate Shop, Warwick, RI, for ten years before retiring in 2000.
