He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo P. Chevalier and Cecelia Chevalier (Costa); and his brother John Chevalier. He is survived by: his children, Renee Ford (Gerry) of Brewer, ME, Nicole Costa (Wayne) of Naples, FL and Jeffrey Chevalier of Coventry; and his grandchildren, Cecelia, Laura Ford and Jordyn Chevalier.

In lieu of flowers, donations in James' name to the St. Vincent de Paul Church Society of Coventry, 6 St. Vincent de Paul St., Coventry, RI 02816 would be appreciated.
