He was predeceased by: his wives, Dorothy F. Smith (Andrews) and Sally. He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Young of Coventry, RI, Dawn Cote of Coventry, RI and Russell Smith of Scituate, RI; and his grandchildren, Chelsea Accetta, Lee Cote, Danielle Studley, Jarred Young, Riley Benedict-Smith and Brady Benedict-Smith. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
