It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenford John Shibley of Coventry, Rhode Island, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenford Mills and Mary Jean Shibley (Shearer). He is survived by: his wife Carol Lee Shibley (Carlson); his children, Jesse G. Shibley (Sarah), Heather L. Shibley (William Strokes) and Det; his siblings, Kevin Shibley of Plano, TX, Scott Shibley of West Warwick, RI, Brett Shibley of Daytona Beach, FL, Beth Wallander of Charlestown, RI and Lisa Arnold of Westerly, RI; and his grandchildren, Ava, Elise, Ella, Alex, Eric, Austin Shibley, Sierra and Scarlett Strokes.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in Glen's name may be made in his honor to St. Andrew Lutheran Church, (Care Team, General Fund or Youth Mission Camp) 15 East Beach Rd., Charlestown, RI 02813 or the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
