He was predeceased by: his wife Joan L. Jones (Poplinger); and his parents, Samuel C. Jones and Marjorie Jones (Griste). He is survived by: his children, Jo Anne Lewis and John Jones; his grandsons, Andrew Lewis, Jr. and Zachary Lewis; and his siblings, Elynn Russell, Susanne and Samuel Jones Jr. George.
