He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick G. and Nellie A. (Cole); his sons, Raymond F. Peterson (Phyllis) of Camden, SC and Peter J. Peterson (Nancy) of West Warwick, RI; his grandchildren, Andrew (Alicia) of Chapin, SC, John of West Warwick, Matthew Peterson (Nicole) of Warwick and Becky P. Fields (Justin) of Columbia, SC; his great grandchild Nathan Peterson; his nephews, Raymond and Gary Peterson (Sherriann); his great-nephews, Ray and Gary; his wife Hope L. Peterson (Crowley); and his brother Raymond J. Peterson.
Due to the current pandemic, his funeral and burial in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick, will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Beacon Hospice / Amedisys Foundation.
