We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Freda Madancy of Coventry, Rhode Island, born in Windber, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tedd Hechler and Freda Hechler (Mickle); and her brother Clarence Hechler (Bonnie). She is survived by: her husband John L. "Jack" Madancy; her children, Angelia J. Barry (Keith) of Coventry, Mary Ann Ryone (Mark) of North Providence, Lorraine D. Fiocco (Robert) of Coventry, Steven G. Madancy (Christina) of Wallingford, CT, John L. Madancy Jr. of North Kingstown and Gregory M. Madancy (Shannon) of Lincoln; and her siblings, Jerry Hechler (Ida), Douglas Hechler (Joyce), Teddi Jo Clea (Anthony) and Marcia Nease (Jeffrey). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, a Mass of Christian Burial at Saints John & Paul Church in Coventry, followed by inurnment at Highland Memorial Park in Johnston will be private for the family.
