He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine Betts (Abbruzzese); his parents, Frank Betts and Margaret Betts (Chisholm); and his sister Vivian Edwards. He is survived by: his daughter Carol A. Rivard (Mark) of Greene; his grandchild Linsey B. Mello; and his niece Yvonne Wallace.
