It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elphege Pare Jr. of Coventry, Rhode Island, born in Warwick, Rhode Island, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Annette A. Pare (Gendron); his parents, Elphege Pare, Sr. and Jeannette Pare (Jussaume); and his son Mark D. Pare. He is survived by: his daughter Sherry A. Schmitt (William) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Branden Pare, Nathan Pare (Nina), Rachel and Dillon Schmitt; and his siblings, Donald "Duke" Pare (Patricia), Ann Marie Pare and Edith Rocheleau (Donald). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the Prata-Gallogly Funeral Home (78 Providence St, West Warwick, RI 02893). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the John & Paul Church (341 S Main St, Coventry, RI 02816). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery - West Greenwich (959 Nooseneck Hill Rd, West Greenwich, RI 02817).
