With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy A. Mathias (Coventry, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Dorothy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dorothy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Crowley and Doris Crowley; her husband Arthur Mathias; and her brothers, Herbert Crowley (Anna) and George Crowley (Marie).
She is survived by: her brother David Crowley (Dee Dee); her children, James Craig, Daniel Craig and Jessie Lee Tilson (Joseph); her grandchildren, Avery and Aria Tilson; and her former husband James Craig Sr. (Robert Mathias).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home and Crematory (721 Washington St, Coventry, RI 02816).
