With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald G. Lavoie of Coventry, Rhode Island, born in Warwick, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024 at the age of 65. As Donald departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Donald. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lavoie and Sylvia Lavoie (Boudreau). He is survived by: his sons, Nicholas Lavoie (Stephanie) and Michael Lavoie (Amber); his brothers, Brian Lavoie (Sherrie) and Steven Lavoie; and his granddaughters, Savannah, Ella and Evelyn.
His carpentry skills can be seen across the state of Rhode Island including his contribution to the building of the Jamestown Bridge.
