He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Staradumsky and Sheila M. Staradumsky (Theilig); and his son Michael Staradumsky. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Staradumsky, Christina Staradumsky and David Staradumsky; his siblings, John Staradumsky III, Douglas Staradumsky, Christopher Staradumsky and Crystal Staradumsky; his grandchildren, Addison, Jordan, Jaxson, Jayce, Jacob and Emma; and his pet Gizmo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
