He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis B. Palmer and Frances Palmer (Cocroft). He is survived by: his wife Lyn Palmer; his children, Kenneth B. Palmer, Ronald E. Johnson, Kevin D. Johnson and Katharine P. Reilly; and his siblings, Lewis B. Palmer, Marilyn P. Helmholz and Cynthia R. Palmer. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
