It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire Bettez (Coventry, Rhode Island), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 3, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dick" Bettez; her parents, Leon W. MacCoy and Mildred M. MacCoy (Burtis); and her brother Edward. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Cassidy of North Smithfield, Richard Bettez Jr. of Cranston and Reneè Mulligan of West Warwick; and her siblings, Elaine Edwards of Warwick and Leon MacCoy. She is also survived by grandchildren.
A calling hour will be held, observing pandemic guidelines, Friday, May 15, 2020, from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St (Rte. 117), Coventry, with a private Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in Saint Vincent de Paul Church, 6 St. Vincent De Paul St., Coventry.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in Claire's name to the American Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) would be appreciated.
