She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Ronald Demarais; her parents, Anton Ekberg and Corrine Ekberg (Dube); her son Ronald Antone Demarais; and her siblings, Shirley Poland, Beverley Yacuzzi, Rita Nicestrom, Dick Ekberg and Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Demarais of Bristol, CT, Mark Demarais of West Warwick, Jeffrey Demarais of Coventry and Carolyn Kershaw of Springfield, NH; her brother Raymond Ekberg; her grandchildren, Stefanie, Brittany of Amanda, JJ, Joshua and Zachary; her great grandchild Emma; and her sons, David Demarais and Danny Demarais. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
