She was predeceased by: her spouse Carmino Distante; her parents, Thomas Murphy and Helen Murphy (Whiting); and her child Cosimo Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Christina Distante-Durand (James) of East Greenwich and Scott P. Distante; her grandchildren, Marissa Rheaume (Ruginski), Max Ruginski, Alexandria Durand, Arissa DiFillippo (Durand), Morgana Napolillo and Martina Napolillo; her great grandchildren, Giuliano Durand, Ryall Rheaume and Michael Vento; and her sister Patricia Damian.
